  1. Chris, I owned both John Deere and simplicity. My first John Deere I gave to my son who still has it. The LT 166 is now 24 yrs old. For me, I own the simplicity. But now, after serval years have had to replace parts which is normal. But the hard thing I have just found out here in Wisconsin, simplicity has shutdown production. Most dealers here have no more tractors or snowblowers. Which makes finding and getting parts almost impossible. So with that said, do I switch back to John Deere? Thanks

    • Thank you for sharing your experience. Given the recent shutdown of Simplicity’s production and the difficulty in sourcing parts, switching back to John Deere might be a prudent choice. John Deere has a robust dealer network and readily available parts, ensuring you won’t face the same challenges. Plus, your positive history with John Deere and the longevity of the LT 166 suggest that it’s a reliable option for your future needs.
